Beef (cut into small pieces) - 1 Kg
Chopped Onions - 2
Tomato - 1
Potato - 1
Garlic cloves - 4
Ginger piece - 1/2 inch
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tsp
Red Chilli powder - 2 TBSP
Coriander Powder - 2 TBSP
Garam Masala - 2 Tsp
Green Chillies - 4
Salt - To taste
oil - As Required
Curry Leaves - 1 Sprig
Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions until it turn pale yellow. Add ginger, garlic and curry leaves and stir for 2 minutes. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and coriander powder and continue stir for 2 minutes. Add in tomato slices and continue sauting till the masala is well browned and oil starts to seperate.Add beef and salt. Stir well for few minutes. Add water as needed, cover it and cook for some time. When half cooked, add potato pieces. Allow the beef to cook well.
Serve with rice, parotta, chappati, tapioca, appam etc.
