1) Ragi Flour (Finger Millet) - 2 cup
2) Salt - to taste
3) Water - 2 cup
Boil water in a pan or cooker
Add salt to the water
When water boils simmer the flame then add ragi powder slowly to the water and stir continuously
Close the lid and cook the ragi (about 10 mins) until it reaches a dough like consistency.
Open the lid and leave the mix to cool, Make balls of medium size, ragi mudde is ready.
Ragi mudde is a traditional Karnataka dish which is highly nutritious and considered as one of the healthiest South Indian breakfast items. It is normally served with a little ghee and sambhar or any curry.
