Red Dosa Recipe

White rice - 1 cup
Red chillies - 3 or 4
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Coriander seeds (Dhaniya) - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds (Jeera) - 1/2 tsp
Onion - 1 small
salt as needed
Soak the rice over night. The next morning, drain all the water from the rice, add water and grind the soaked rice, along with red chillies, coconut, coriander seeds, cumin seeds and salt. Grind nicely untill smooth. It should be watery than regular dosa batter. Pour into vessel and mix finely chopped onions.
Heat tawa(nonstick preffered). Put little oil and pour a ladle full of batter. Tilt the tawa, so that batter can spread all sides. allow the dosa to cook for 2 minutes. remove and transfer to the plate. Serve hot with butter.
