Duck Mappas Recipe

Ingredients Duck - 500gms
Chilli powder - 1 Tablespoon
Coriander powder - 1 Teaspoon
Pepper - 1 Teaspoon
Turmeric - 1/4 Teaspoon
Onion - 1 Chopped
Vinegar - 1 Tsp
Coconut milk - 1 cup
Cinnamon - 2 inch piece
Cloves - 4
Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Oil as required
Salt as required
Cooking InstructionsWash and cut duck.
Slice the onions.
Heat oil, add sliced onion.
Saute well and add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and pepper powder.
Add duck and sauté for 5 minutes.
Add salt and half of coconut milk and vinegar and bring it to boil and then simmer.
When the duck is nearly cooked add remaining coconut milk.
Bring it to boil and remove from fire.
Heat some oil and add crushed cinnamon, cloves and mustard seeds.
When the seeds splutter, pour over the curry and mix well.
Serve with appam or parotta.
