IngredientsRava (Semolina) - 1 Cup
Sugar - 1 Cup
Ghee (Clarified Butter) - 4 TBSp
Grated Coconut - 1.5 Cup
Vanilla Essence - 1 Tsp
Perinjeerakam (Crushed) - 1 Tsp
Rice flour to dust.
Cooking InstructionsMix the sugar and grated coconut.
Heat a pan and add in the sugar and coconut mixture. Keep stirring until the sugar melts and the mixture becomes sticky.
Mix in the Ghee, semolina (rava) and perumjeerakam.(Anniseed) and keep stirring for around 10 minutes.
On a flat tray dust in some rice flour and spoon in the mixture(while its still hot).
Using a Chapati roller or the back of a spoon knead and spread into the tray (1 inch thick )
Cut into diamond shape pieces and leave it to cool.
Dust in some more rice flour.

Store in air tight containers until christmas day.
