Chutta Meen or Meen Pollichathu Recipe

Ingredients Avoli(Pomfret) or Karimeen(Pearl Spots) - 2
Small onion - 5
Red chilly - 1 1/2 tbsp
Pepper powder - 1/2 tbsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Ginger - 1" piece
Garlic - 3 cloves
Curry Leaves - a few
Banana Leaf - big enough to wrap the fish
Salt
Cooking InstructionsWash and clean the fish and make slits on both sides.
Make a course paste of onions, curry leaves, ginger, garlic, lemon juice, chilli powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder and salt.
Apply this paste on both sides of fish and keep for one hour. Wrap the fish in banana leaves. Grill till done.
