Fish - 6 pieces cut into thick cubes
Oil – ˝ cup
Mustard – 1 tea spoon
Small onion chopped – ˝ cup
Curry leaves – few
Ginger garlic paste – 2 table spoon
Green chilli – 4
Coriander powder – 2 table spoon
Red chilli powder – 1 table spoon
Tomato puree – 1 ˝ cup
Salt – to taste
Clean the fish pieces and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Allow it to splutter and then add onion and curry leaves to it and sauté well.
Add ginger garlic paste and green chilli sauté again.
Simmer the flame and chilli powder and coriander powder and sauté till the raw smell of the masala goes.
Add tomato puree and sauté till oil comes up.
Put the fish pieces. Cover it with the masala and cook for 10 minutes in low flame.
Remove from the fire when the fish is cooked and serve it hot.
