Mutton – 1kg
Wheat gram -1kg
Lentil(masoor dal) – ¼ kg
Garam masala – ½ tea spoon
Red chilli powder – 1 table spoon
Coriander powder – ¾ table spoon
Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
Chilli paste – ½ tea spoon
Cardamom – 2
Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
Lemon juice – ½ tea spoon
Ghee – ½ cup
Ginger garlic paste – 2 table spoon
FOR SEASONING
Small onion – 5-6 nos chopped
Cumin seeds – ¼ tea spoon
Heat half cup ghee in thick bottomed vessel.
Add mutton , ginger garlic paste , lemon juice , cardamom, cinnamon and all the powders.
Mix well by adding salt , 2 small cups of water and cook in low flame for 30 minutes.
In another pan cook wheat gram and lentil with 5-6 cups of water till it become tender.
Smash it with a big spoon and mix with cooked mutton.
Place this pan on a tawa and cook for around 30 minutes again on low flame.
Fry the onions and cumin in ghee and pour on the top of haleem
