Ambalapuzha Palpayasam Recipe

Ingredients Pachari - 1/2 cup
Milk - 4 cups
Sugar - 1 cup
Water - 1 cup
Cooking InstructionsAdd all the ingredients in a cooker (Do not wash the rice as we may not get the desired color. Using unwashed rice gives the payasam a light pink color that is characteristic of ambalappuzha palpayasam.) Pressure cook for 30 minutes. Switch off flame and let it remain closed for 1 hour. Payasam is ready to be served.
