Raw Banana (Nenthra Kaya) - 3
Jaggery (Sharkara) - 2 Cup
Dried Ginger Powder - 1 TBsp
Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp
Cardamom - 4 powdered
Powdered Sugar - 2 TBSp (optional)
Coconut Oil for Frying
Peel the raw bananas and cut into thick sliced pieces.
Heat oil and fry the banana pieces until they become crispy.
Remove from oil using a strainer and keep aside.
Heat the Jaggery with 1 cup water in a large saucepan.
Stir continously until the jaggery melts completely and becomes a thick syrup.
Remove from fire and add the fried banana pieces, ginger powder, cumin powder, cardamom powder and mix well.
Allow it to cool for a while and optionally you could sprinkle some powdered sugar over it.
