Egg - 1
Tomato - 1 small
Chopped onions - 1/2 cup
Green chillies - 3 (chopped)
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Mutstard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Grind together turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, salt and grated coconut adding a little water. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add chopped onions, chopped tomatoes and green chillies and saute till onions are soft. Add the ground paste to this. Mix well and add one cup of water. Bring to boil. Break the egg and add over the boiling masala mix. Stir well so that egg forms small string like pieces. Bring to boil again. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 5 minutes with closed lid. Open the lid, stir well and cook in simmer for 10 minutes.Photos (Click to enlarge) :
