2 cups wheat flour
2 tbsp ghee or vegetable oil
1/2 tsp salt or to your taste
1 cup warm water
Prepare dough by mixing together water with salt, ghee and just enough wheat flour. Knead well. Keep aside for about half an hour. Make small balls from the dough. Dust with wheat flour. Roll into chapatis on a rolling board. If you are having difficulties roling you can dust the rolling board also with flour.
Heat the chapati tawa and keep on flame. Cook each chapati on tawa turning sides and applying ghee or oil on both sides until the chappathi puffs up.
Add ghee on top of chapati if needed.
