Prawns - 1 kg(de-veined and washed)
Rice - 2 cups(soak it for 20 minutes)
Onions (big) - 2 nos (finely sliced)
Carrot - 2 nos (grated)
Beans - 1/2 cup (chopped)
Chilly powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Soya sauce - 1 tsp
Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves - 5 sprigs (finely chopped)
Salt - As reqd
1)For preparing prawn in veggie pepper rice, marinate the prawns in chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt.
2)Heat oil in a pan and fry the prawns. Keep it aside.
3)In the same oil, fry onions, carrot and beans for 5 minutes on low flame.
4)Add in rice and 4 cups of hot water.
5)Then add in soya sauce, pepper powder, lemon juice and salt. Allow it to simmer on low flame.
6)When it is half cooked, add in the fried prawns and allow it to cook on low flame till the water dries up and the rice is cooked.
7)Garnish with coriander leaves.
8)Prawn in veggie pepper rice is ready. Serve hot.
