Cooked Rice - 3 Cups
Curd (Yoghurt)- 1/2 Cup
Milk - 1/2 cup
Chopped ginger - 1 tsp
Asofoetida - 1/4 Tsp
Green Chilli - 5
Mustard seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Urad Dal (Black Gram) - 1 Tsp
Chana Dal (Bengal Gram Dal) - 1 Tsp
Curry leaves - 5
Chopped Coriander leaves - 1 TBsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 Tablespoon
In a bowl, mix the cooked rice, milk, curd and salt. Keep aside
Heat the oil in a pan.
Splutter the mustard seeds and then add the Urad dal, chana dal and cumin seeds and fry in very low flame for few seconds.
Add the chopped green chillies, asofoetida, and curry leaves and fry for a few more seconds.
Remove from heat and add it to the rice and curd mix in the bowl.
Mix well and garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve with pickle.
