Sona masoori rice - 1 ½ cup
Tomatoes (medium size) - 4 (finely chopped)
Salt - to taste
For making the ground masala you need:
- Green chili - 6
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 teaspoon
- Cloves - 4
- Cinnamon - 2 pieces
- Mint leaves - ½ cup
- Coriander leaves - ¼ cup
- Coconut grated - 3 table spoon
For seasoning you need :
- Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Curry leaves - few
- Red chillies - 2
- Oil - 3 tablespoon
Grind the ingredients for making the ground masala and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
Add the seasoning and fry well.
Add chopped tomatoes and ground masala.
Fry well for five minutes till the oil oozes out.
Add salt and rice.
Sauté for 5 minutes.
Add three cups of hot water and pressure cook for two whistles and tomato bath is ready.
