1. Rice - 2 cups
2. veg - carrots, beans, peas, potatoes
3. Tomato - 2
4. Onion - 2
5. Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
6. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
7.Cinnamon 1 inch – 1 pieces
8. Cardamom- 2
9. Cloves - 2
10. Ginger-garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
11. Coriander powder - 2 tsp
12. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
13. Chilly powder - 1 tsp ( or according to your spice level)
14. Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
15. Oil - 2 tbsp
16. Salt - as required
Heat oil in a pan and add fennel seeds, cumin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom and onion. Saute till onions are golden brown. Then add tomatoes and saute it till its done or properly cooked. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for few minutes. Now add coriander powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder. Saute for few seconds.
Now add vegetables and mix well. Cover the pan and cook in medium heat for 10 min or till the vegetables are properly cooked. (To make sure the vegetables doesn't get burned, keep stirring now and then)
After the vegetables get cooked, mix it with boiled rice. Your yummy pulao is ready.
