Par Boiled Rice – 1 cup (Soaked in water for 5 hours)
Boneless Chicken pieces (sliced) – 1 cup
Onions – 2 (Chopped)
Green chilli – 3
Ginger garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder – ¼ teaspoon
Cumin powder – ¼ teaspoon
Salt – to taste
Grind rice with a little water to make a thick paste and keep aside.
Cook chicken pieces in a cup of water with the ingredients from ginger garlic paste to salt.
Remove from heat and allow to cool, then mince the chicken.
Heat 2 teaspoon oil in a kadai and fry onion till brown.
Add the chopped green chillies and saute well.
Add minced chicken to it and mix well.
Grease your hand and take small balls of rice paste, and make kozhukatta by pressing gently and putting the filling in the center and closing.
Heat a steamer and cook kozhukatta balls for 15 to 20 minutes in medium flame.
Remove from heat and cut each kozhukatta into 2 pieces and serve.
