IngredientsThoor Dal (Toovara Parippu) - 1 cup
Chopped Onions - 1/2 cup
Chopped ginger - 2 tsp
Green chillies - 3
Curry leaves - a few
Salt to taste
Cooking InstructionsSoak the dal in water for about 3 hours. Drain the water and grind into a coarse paste adding salt. (No need to add water for grinding as water is already absorbed into the dal while soaking). Mix the paste with chopped onions, chopped ginger, curry leaves and chopped green chillies. Make into required shapes (vada shapes) i n your palm. Heat oil and deep fry the vadas. Serve hot with tea.Photos (Click to enlarge) :
