French Onion Soup Recipe

Onions - 3
Garlic - 2 cloves
Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Vegetable stock - 3 cups
(Stock is prepared by boiling vegetables, but if you dont have patience you may mix 3 vegetble stock cubes in 3 cups of hot water to get ready made stock)
Wine or sherry - 4 tbsp
Finely slice the onions and garlic. Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions and garlic till golden brown. Add the vegetable stock and wine. Cover and cook for about 30 minutes. Soup is ready to be served. This soup goes well with bread grilled with a topping of cheese.
