Carrot Payasam Recipe

Ingredients Carrot grated – 2 cup
Milk – 2 cup
Sugar – ½ cup
Milk maid – 1 tin
Ghee – 2 tea spoon
Cardamom powder – ½ tea spoon
Milk – 1 cup
Cashew nuts – ¼ cup
Dates – 8 nos
Cooking InstructionsSoak cashews in one cup milk for 30 minutes.
Heat ghee in a vessel and add grated carrot into it, sauté for 10 minutes and leave aside to cool.
Coarsely grind the carrot along with dates, cashew and milk.
Boil two cup milk with sugar in a thick bottomed vessel.
Add the ground carrot, cashew dates and milk mixture to it and cook for 15 minutes.
When the payasam become thick add condensed milk to it.
Serve hot or chilled.
