Dessicated coconut - 2 cups
Milkmaid - according to sweetness required
Keep a handful of coconut aside. Fry remaining coconut in dry heat. Take care not to burn it. Remove from flame as soon as it reaches light brown color. Transfer this to a flat plate and add milkmaid. Mix both till it reaches desired consistency. Make lemon sized balls by hand. Roll each laddoo over the cocnut that was kept aside initially. Let it set for about 5 minutes. Can be refrigerated and served cold also.
