1) Mooli (radish) - 4 chopped
2) Green gram(cheru payar) - 1/4 cup
3) Onion - 1
4) Green chilli - 2
5) Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon
6) Oil - 1 tea spoon
Cook green gram in a pressure cooker with little water (3-4 whistle).
Heat oil in a kadai ,add onion and green chilli saute well for about 5 minutes.
Add mooli to this and sauté for a while then add the turmeric powder and salt ,close the lid and cook further.
When mooli is cooked add the cooked green gram mix well and serve hot.
Note: You can also prepare this dish by adding 1/4 cup of coconut milk to it when you add the green gram.
