Moru Kachiyathu Recipe

Ingredients Curd - 1 cup
Whole red chillies - 3
Small onions - 4
Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek seeds (Uluva) - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves - A few
Water - 1/2 cup
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt as required
Cooking InstructionsDilute the 1 cup thick curd with 1/2 cup water beating well and keep aside. Chop onions and ginger and split the whole red chillies. Heat oil and splutter mustard seeds. Add fenugreen seeds and saute. Add chopped onions, chopped ginger and split red chillies. Saute in medium heat until onions start to turn brown. Add turmeric powder. Add curry leaves and salt as required and saute for few minutes. Now turn the heat from medium to low. Add the diluted curd carefully and mix well. Once its mixed properly turn off the heat. (If you keep in heat for long time curd will start to split). Moru Kachiyathu is ready to be served with rice and other dishes.
