Green Chilli - 4
Small onions (Kunjulli) - 5
Tamarind - lemon sized ball
Coconut Oil - 2 tbsp
Water - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Chop the small onions and green chillies.
Mix the coconut oil, water and tamarind to form a paste.
Add small onions and green chillies. Add salt as required.
Mix everything well with hand. Serve with kappa puzhungiyathu.
Alternatively you can use red chillies. In this case you may saute the red chillies in coconut oil for some time and then crush it and add rest of the ingredients (water, tamarind, small onions, salt)
