Tarka Dhal Recipe

Ingredients 1 Cup Masoor Dal Red Lentils
1 Moong Dal
½ tsp Turmeric
½ tsp cumin seeds
5 Cloves or Garlic peeled and crushed
3 Dried red chilli
2 Tablespoon oil
Salt to taste
Cooking InstructionsBoil 4 cups of water.
Wash and drain the Moong Dal and Masoor dal and add to boiling water.
Add turmeric and salt, then simmer for 30 minutes until its fully cooked and lentils are soft.
Heat some oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds, crushed garlic and red chillies.
Fry for a minute and add to the cooked lentils.
Serve hot with rice.
