Vellarikka Kichadi (Pachadi) Recipe

Ingredients Vellarika (cucumber) 400 gm
Salt As required
Curd 1/2 cup
Grated coconut 1 cup
Green chilly 4
Coconut oil 1 tablespoon
Mustard seed teaspoon
Dry red chilly 2
Curry leaves 1 stem
Cooking InstructionsPeel the cucumber and slice finely. Cook this in water with added salt. Grind Ingredients coconut, green chillies and mustard seeds(1/4 tsp) to fine paste.
Once cucumber is cooked, add the ground paste and bring to boil. Remove from fire. Add curd and stir well.
Splutter remaining mustard seeds in coconut oil, add dry red chilly and curry leaves and pour it over the kichadi.
